£21,000 to £24,000 per year
Global organisation based in Manchester City Centre require interim support in their Payroll department on an initial 6 month Fixed Term Contract. This vacancy has the potential to become a permanent role after the initial 6 month period.
Reporting to the Payroll Manager, you will be responsible for the processing of contractor payrolls for over 1000 employees on a weekly basis. This will include setting up starters and processing leavers, processing payroll from invoice generation to timesheet creation, ensuring full compliance with HMRC guidelines and managing any queries in relation to pay.
- Experience within a payroll department either processing umbrella payrolls or high-volume weekly PAYE
- Strong understanding of payroll legislation
- Ability to manually calculate payslips
- High levels of accuracy
- Ability to work at pace
- Strong communication and query management skills
- Good knowledge of Excel

This vacancy is currently fully-remote in line with Government guidelines, however this will eventually become a hybrid working position, based 3 days in the office and suitable candidates must be able to travel to Manchester City Centre.
