NSTR is partnered with a global organisation with offices based in Manchester City Centre who require an experienced Senior Payroll Administrator to join their team on a permanent basis.
As a Senior Payroll Administrator, you will be responsible for the timely and accurate processing of the company’s most complex payrolls. This role has a view to develop into a Payroll Manager position within a year, responsible for the daily management of a team of 4.
Responsibilities:
- Processing of weekly, fortnightly, four weekly and monthly payrolls
- Management and resolution of escalated queries
- Ensuring statutory legislation is adhered to
- Auto-enrolment and pension assessment
- Maintenance of accurate records
- Reviewing and amending existing best practice procedures
- Recruitment, training and development of Payroll Administrators
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Senior Payroll Administrator/Payroll Team Leader/Payroll Supervisor
- High-volume end to end processing across multiple payrolls
- Strong payroll legislation knowledge
- Excellent people skills – both team management and query resolution
- Ability to resolve complex queries and payroll challenges
- Strong systems knowledge and ability to pick up bespoke systems quickly
- Some experience managing small teams is beneficial
