Senior Credit Controller – Manchester

£13 – £15ph

Opportunity for an experienced Senior Credit Controller to join a large finance function based in Manchester City Centre on an initial 3-month temporary contract. This position has the potential to be extended or made into a permanent role for the right candidate.

Responsibilities:

• Chasing Client payments for outstanding invoices via phone and email
• Creating and maintaining new customer accounts
• Resolving client queries
• Allocation of payments
• Ensuring the cash forecast module is up to date 
• Ad hoc administration duties
• Running regular aged debtor reports and analysis of incoming payments
• Weekly debtor reporting to Credit Control Team Leader

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a similar role
• Proven experience collecting aged debt and achieving KPIs
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Numerate and good analytical skills
• Strong systems skills, including MS Excel
• Ability to prioritise in a fast-paced environment
• Either immediately available or on a short notice period
