Semi Senior Accountant – Manchester

A leading firm of chartered accountants and business advisors in Manchester city centre are looking for a Semi Senior Accountant to join their growing team.

Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

• Preparation of financial statements for SME’s (FRS102)
• Experience in the preparation of year-end accounts from incomplete records through to manager review
• Basic preparation of Corporation Tax computations to review stage
• Experience in dealing with basic client queries and problem solving
• Ad-hoc bookkeeping duties
• Preparation of management accounts for clients and reporting in required format
• Client VAT Return preparation

Requirements:

• AAT qualified or part qualified
• Proven experience of preparation of management accounts and VAT returns
• Able to work on own initiative, but also be a team player in a busy and fast paced environment
