NSTR is partnered with an award-winning firm of Chartered Accountants based in Preston who require an experienced Payroll Officer to join their team on a permanent basis.
Reporting into the Payroll Manager, you will be managing client’s payroll, ensuring the timely production on weekly, four weekly and monthly payrolls.
Responsibilities:
- Full start to finish payroll processing of client’s payroll
- Setting up new client’s payrolls
- Liaising with clients and HMRC
- SSP administration
- Calculation of statutory deductions
- Issuing of payslips and summary reports
- Timely and effective response to client queries relating to pay
Requirements:
- Previous experience processing payroll
- Experience within a payroll bureau is advantageous
- Up to date knowledge of current payroll legislation
- Knowledge of CIS and RTI procedures is beneficial
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a wider team
- Good systems knowledge
