NSTR is partnered with an award-winning firm of Chartered Accountants based in Preston who require an experienced Payroll Officer to join their team on a permanent basis.

Reporting into the Payroll Manager, you will be managing client’s payroll, ensuring the timely production on weekly, four weekly and monthly payrolls.

 

Responsibilities:
  • Full start to finish payroll processing of client’s payroll
  • Setting up new client’s payrolls
  • Liaising with clients and HMRC
  • SSP administration
  • Calculation of statutory deductions
  • Issuing of payslips and summary reports
  • Timely and effective response to client queries relating to pay

 

Requirements:
  • Previous experience processing payroll
  • Experience within a payroll bureau is advantageous
  • Up to date knowledge of current payroll legislation
  • Knowledge of CIS and RTI procedures is beneficial
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a wider team
  • Good systems knowledge
