Our client, a leading Not-for-Profit organisation based in Blackburn require two experienced Payroll Officers to join their department on a 12m FTC.

Reporting to the Payroll Manager, you will work as part of a team of 7 responsible for the timely and accurate processing of weekly and monthly payrolls.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Setting up new starters, processing leavers and making payroll amendments
  • Manual calculation of payments
  • Submitting accurate data to HMRC
  • Auto-enrolment and pension assessment
  • Maintenance of system and recording accurate client records
  • Managing employee queries in relation to pay

 

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in payroll
  • Excellent knowledge of payroll legislation
  • Furlough claims processing experience is advantageous
  • Ability to manually calculate payslips
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Previous use of Resource Link is beneficial
