Our client, a leading Not-for-Profit organisation based in Blackburn require two experienced Payroll Officers to join their department on a 12m FTC.
Reporting to the Payroll Manager, you will work as part of a team of 7 responsible for the timely and accurate processing of weekly and monthly payrolls.
Responsibilities:
- Setting up new starters, processing leavers and making payroll amendments
- Manual calculation of payments
- Submitting accurate data to HMRC
- Auto-enrolment and pension assessment
- Maintenance of system and recording accurate client records
- Managing employee queries in relation to pay
Requirements:
- Previous experience in payroll
- Excellent knowledge of payroll legislation
- Furlough claims processing experience is advantageous
- Ability to manually calculate payslips
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Previous use of Resource Link is beneficial
