NSTR is working with a Payroll Bureau based in Whitchurch, Shropshire who are recruiting for an experienced Payroll Administrator to join their team on a permanent basis.

Reporting into the Payroll Manager, you will be responsible for the end-to-end payroll processing of client’s payroll alongside a busy team. This role offers flexible working, with a mixed week of working from home and office working.


  • Setting up starters and processing leavers
  • Processing weekly, fortnightly and monthly payroll for clients
  • Maintaining accurate payroll data
  • Submitting payroll information to HMRC on behalf of clients
  • Processing multiple pension schemes
  • Processing payment and statutory deductions
  • Managing queries in relation to pay



  • Previous experience within payroll, ideally within a bureau
  • Up to date knowledge of payroll legislation
  • Knowledge of the furlough process
  • Ability to confidently liaise with clients and senior management
  • Ability to manage own workload
  • Good systems skills
