Exciting opportunity for an experienced Payroll Administrator to join a large firm of Chartered Accountants on a permanent basis.

Reporting to the Payroll Manager, you will be responsible for the management of 60 client payrolls, ranging from single directors to 150 employees across weekly, fortnightly, four weekly, monthly and lunar payrolls.

 

Responsibilities:
  • Setting up new starters and processing leavers
  • Processing all payrolls and submitting RTI reports to HMRC
  • Calculation of statutory payments and deductions
  • Timely response to client queries in relation to pay
  • Production of BACS Payment reports
  • Calculation of pension contributions and liaising with multiple pension providers

 

Requirements:
  • Previous experience within payroll, ideally from a bureau background
  • Up to date knowledge of payroll legislation
  • Excellent time keeping and organisational skills
  • Good knowledge of manual calculations in relation to pay and deductions
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of team
  • Previous Sage experience is beneficial
