NSTR are currently recruiting for a Financial Reporting Manager to join a PE-Backed organisation in Leeds.

This role will play a vital part in improving processes across the business and would be a great springboard for someone looking to develop into a Financial Controller.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Project manage the delivery of annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting
  • Management of a team of Junior Accountants
  • Management of year-end financial audit
  • Oversee the accurate reconciliation of the balance sheet
  • Management of the provision of information to auditors and liaison on audit queries
  • Technical accounting lead; analysing complex matters and providing support on the application of accounting standards
  • VAT returns
  • Other project work and ad-hoc tasks as required

 

Requirements:

  • ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified
  • Technical background with previous experience in audit
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to forge close working relationships
  • Willingness to challenge current processes
  • Ability to mentor/manage junior members
