Financial Controller – Leeds/Manchester

NSTR are currently partnered with a leading organisation in their search for a Financial Controller to lead a team of highly skilled accountants.

This role is pivotal in the development/growth of the finance team and would be suited to an individual that is well versed in change management.

Responsibilities:

• Day-to-day management of the finance team including mentoring junior members
• Ability to evaluate and improve current processes into a robust model
• Preparation of statutory accounts, budgets and financial forecasts
• Provide detailed understanding and insight on monthly results, identifying opportunities to drive value and highlighting key risks with cashflow to the business
• Business partnering with the individual units, building relations with non-finance managers and guiding them through the process
• Ownership of board pack generation with supporting in-depth variance analysis
• Managing the arrears, accruals and cashflow forecasts
• Additional duties when called upon

Requirements:

• ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified
• Previous experience managing a team in either industry or practice environment
• Efficient communicator with the ability to lead relationships
• Strong technical background
• Ability to business partner at all levels from ops to board
