NSTR has a great opportunity for a high calibre candidate to fast track their career prospects, widen their skillset and be part of the companies ambitious growth plans for its pensions and covenant advisory business.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Advising some of the largest PE firms, creditor groups & global companies on the impact of a transaction/restructuring/refinancing on the employer covenant provided to pension schemes
  • Managing a portfolio of pension trustee clients, advising on their employer covenant and providing input into their integrated risk management framework monitoring
  • Advising corporate sponsors of pension schemes in negotiations with trustees over employer covenant and mitigation / financial support options
  • Building your own strong client and internal relationships
  • Developing go-to-market propositions and external marketing initiatives to help enhance the  companies pensions and covenant advisory brand

 

Requirements:

  • Qualified Chartered Accountant with post qualified experience
  • Experience of advising clients, preparing client reports and presentations, managing projects, and managing accounting/financial projects
  • Some knowledge of insolvency analysis e.g. Entity Priority Models & Estimated Outcome Statements
  • Knowledge of defined benefit pensions regulatory and employer covenant assessment and experience will be helpful, but not required
