Accounts Senior/Manager – Wigan

NSTR is working closely with a growing accountancy practice in Wigan to appoint a Qualified Accountant. This is a brand new position which has been created due to significant growth at the firm. Managing a portfolio of clients and being their first point of contact.

Responsibilities will include:

• Preparation of statutory and management accounts for a portfolio of clients
• Preparation of corporation tax, self-assessment tax and VAT returns
• Supervising a team of more junior accountants, assigning and reviewing their work
• Training and mentoring the junior accountants

Requirements:

• ACA/ACCA qualified
• Experience and training from an accountancy practice in a similar role
• Experience using cloud accounting software including Xero
