NSTR is partnered with an award-winning Chartered Accountants based in Bolton who are recruiting for an experienced Payroll Administrator to join their Payroll Bureau on a permanent basis.
Reporting into the Payroll Manager, you will manage your own portfolio of clients (approx 80 clients) and process their payroll from start to finish. Your clients will range from single director payrolls to 150 employees, processed over weekly, fortnightly and monthly pay cycles.
Responsibilities:
- Assisting with all aspects of payroll processing
- Processing payslips
- Preparing BACS payments
- Answering queries in relation to pay and statutory deductions
- Other ad hoc duties
Experience:
- Previous experience processing payroll, specifically client’s payroll within a bureau
- Strong knowledge of manual calculations (for queries)
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a wider team
- Sage 50 knowledge is desirable, but not essential
