Transaction Services Managers / Senior Managers / Directors – London

NSTR is working with an award-winning national advisory firm that have recently been PE backed and are looking to expand into the FDD Market within London

 The firm are actively building their new FDD team and have already hired an experienced FDD Partner who brings c.20 years of FDD experience across Big 4 and other globally recognised advisors. Transaction Services Vice President – USA, Remote, Chicago or Denver

Role: Transaction Services Vice President

Location: USA, Remote, Chicago or Denver

NSTR is currently working exclusively with a leading US boutique advisory firm that partners with private equity firms, their portfolio companies, and the office of the CFO to provide transaction advisory services, valuation advice, and accounting and finance support.

Due to growth and strong pipelines, the TAS team is now looking to significantly expand in 2025 with a number of hires, as a Transaction Services Vice President you will perform the following duties.

 

  • Manage buy-side and sell-side financial due diligence projects, primarily for private equity clients and middle market companies.
  • Perform rigorous analysis of financial and operational data of target companies, and lead quality of earnings, net working capital, and other ad hoc analyses.
  • Lead meetings with target company personnel and assist with client communications.
  • Generate comprehensive financial due diligence reports presenting key findings and important deal considerations to clients.
  • Participate in practice development initiatives.
  • Mentor, train, and evaluate junior team members.

 

About the Vice President

  • A bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
  • A minimum of 3 – 6 years of related work experience at an accounting or consulting firm (ideally experience within a transaction advisory services practice at a Big 4 accounting firm or national consulting firm).
  • Active CPA license or equivalent certification preferred.

 

Salary: $130,000-$175,000 pa + 20% bonus + Unlimited PTO

Salary : £55k to £65k

Candidate requirements :
Must possess a Chartered Accountant (ACCA, ICAEW, ICAS) or Chartered Tax Advisor (CTA) or international equivalent or have equivalent work experience.

This includes international candidates who qualify through experience in their home country.

NSTR are currently working with a leading private equity backed Consultancy firm which is building out their London office with a number of hires and off the back of a major FDD project win, NSTR are now recruiting a Transaction Services Manager or Senior Transaction Services Manager.

 

Principal Responsibilities:

  • Support buy-side and sell-side transaction advisory engagements, providing financial and business due diligence assistance to corporations and private equity investors
  • Analyse target company data to identify historical and projected operating trends, quality of earnings/assets, pro forma financials, working capital calculations, debt and debt-like items and other potential liabilities/risks which impact valuation of and negotiation with the target company
  • Responsible for working with senior team members on multiple complex engagements simultaneously
  • Manage and coordinate approach of client, engagement teams, and third-party diligence providers throughout the transaction process.

 

Skills/Competencies:

  • Ability to multi-task between responsibilities, prioritise and handle multiple requests
  • Strong analytical ability
  • Excellent verbal/written communication and presentation skills
  • Expertise in Microsoft Excel for the use of data analysis, including the use of pivot tables, v lookups, arrays, PowerPivot, PowerQuery, etc.

 

Education/Experience Requirements:  

  • At least 3-5 years of experience working in an assurance or transaction advisory role within a Big Four firm
  • Professional services background
  • ACA/ACCA/ICAS/CPA Qualified
